Missionary of the Month
Filed in: Invisible Children and Orphans
For the month of January we are praying for the Invisible Children and Orphans who are victims of the relentless persecution of ethnic and religious minorities in far eastern countries such as India, Burma, and Indonesia. Tens of thousands of children have been left orphaned and forced to flee their homes. Many are at the mercy of soldiers or child slave trade trafficking. Organizations such as ICC, Voice of the Martyrs and Sisters in Service are putting forth heroic efforts to rescue and lead to safety the children and women caught up in these conflicts. They supply medicines and food, build orphanages and schools, and show them the love and care that our Savior, Jesus Christ, has for them.
Please pray for these children and the ministries involved in helping them rebuild their lives during your daily quiet times and with your families this month.
