We believe that the Holy Spirit is given to every believer and that He begins the process of sanctification in them from the moment of conversion. Through the Word of God, the sacraments, fellowship, prayer, and worship, He renews our minds and conforms us to the image of Christ. Sanctification is a lifelong process in which the believer becomes more like Christ, increasing in the knowledge of God, and living a life that grows in conformity to God’s character of holiness, truth, and love.
